Industrial and Commercial Times تایوان گزارش داد که تولید آیفون ۶ با صفحه نمایش ۴.۷ اینچی در ماه جولای آغاز خواهد شد تا در نهایت در ماه سپتامبر عرضه شود. این درحالیست که آیفون ۵.۵ اینچی اپل بعد از این تاریخ تولید می شود. Nikkei ژاپن نیز اعلام کرده بود که در ماه سپتامبر گوشی های جدید اپل عرضه می شود.
براساس خبرهای منتشر شده، ظاهرا شرکت های ال جی و شارپ با مشکلات تولید در بخش تکنولوژی لمسی in-cell برای صفحه نمایش های ۵.۵ اینچی روبروست. تولید کننده سوم مدنظر اپل، شرکت ژاپن دیسپلی می باشد. این کمپانی پنل های ۵.۵ اینچی Quad HD معرفی کرد که براساس گزارشات منتشر شده ممکن است مورد توجه اپل قرار گیرد.

Eventual 4.7" iPhone 6 primed for production in July, earlier than a 5.5" Apple phablet
Taiwan's Industrial and Commercial Times is reporting that the eventual 4.7" iPhone 6 will hit the conveyor belts en masse in July, readied for a September release, while the rumored 5.5" iPhone will start getting prepped at a later date. This jibes with the recent UBS analysis that the iPhone 6 will be released in August or September, but the 5.5" piece "might or might not" launch at the same time. Japan's Nikkei also reports on September as the launch month for Apple's new handsets, though in that memo the 5.5-incher is still in play for the fall.
Last we heard, LG and Sharp were supposedly having issues producing the in-cell touch technology for a 5.5" diagonal, and the alleged third screen supplier – Japan Display (JDI) – reportedly isn't able to pick up the slack on its own. JDI recently announced a new 5.5" Quad HD panel, and rumors spread that Apple will be using it for a larger iPhone, but the situation with Apple's eventual phablet is obviously still up in the air, depending on which analyst you ask.
